Jc - I noticed this and 'All is well here tonight' ~ I think? Sleepless days/nights waiting to see if/when I could go see if my canyon home was not destroyed by fire. It was one of the saved ones; most not so lucky. Neighbor had (2) swimming pool pump sprayers and helped us all; Gov't ran out of water...Hmm! I'm telling you this, because as I sat in my car, I sketched & wrote a piece on my tab that is way out of my comfort zone; I think the fumes got to me. You are a very eclectic writer; I'm not a writer at all. At this stage it's just fun to scribble my silly stories and lead into them with my goofy sketches. Will you do me a favor? Friday I'm posting 'Chin~Music' - will you tell me if I'm off base with this? I've never uttered an f-word in my stories; but the fire brought this fire out in me. I'm over-back-peddling on it, I know...I just don't get how this could be an issue. I value your always 'Sage' Opinion...from one old-folk-vet to another. Jk.in once lovely l.a.
This haiku is emphatic in its loveliness and peaceful resonance. The blueness of the picture tends to radiate the same relaxed, contented emotion (I gravitate largely to that royal blue color, so I found it so).
A new form of Haiku! Love it!!
Managed to capture that sense of expanse in such a small space!
Ooh this was a deep breath in and out.
Beautiful haiku!🌌🌌
Breathtaking, John! The resounding effect of the final line after the stunning imagery is perfect!
I love the choice of image. This was a highly inspiring piece, it reminds us that all we have to do is look up at the sky at night, and everything will be alright. There’s no room for fear or anxiety when our night sky commands us to look up at it. It flows very well too, almost as if those words were made to go together.
Lovely haiku✅… desert night skies are spectacular.
Awww, this was so beautiful! I loved it!
This was so pretty, John! I loved it!
That is lovely, and so calming. Well done.
I was about to say “this is a little short for a published Vocal article,” but then I realized what challenge it was published in.
Beautiful work... I know the feeling well.
