The Sky That Dropped Red Snow
The sky that dropped red snow,
Not soft like winter’s breath,
But heavy, cold, and full of grief,
A whispered mourning, deep beneath.
It fell on the earth, like broken dreams,
A crimson tide that stained the seams,
Of lives once bright, now torn apart,
As sorrow bled through every heart.
No warmth in the air, no peace in the sound,
Just silence where hope had once been found.
Each flake a memory, sharp and raw,
A warning written in nature’s law.
The world stood still, as time was caught,
In the web of a loss no one had sought.
And the red snow fell without a care,
Cloaking the earth in despair.
When the storm passed, the silence grew,
No one dared ask what, why or how.

"Cloaking the earth in despair." Oh my god, I love the way you have with words. It's so clear but also has so many layers. Absolutely beautiful. The imagery in this poem is fantastic.
Red Snow in some ways is beautiful, and your words lead to a kind of understanding of sorts. Good job.
Captivating poem, and you always surprise us!!!
