A flipping script;

A sinking ship,

Down as the memories of everything floods the room.

Broken hatches! blistering wood! On comes Onslaught of gloom.

Shattered glass!

Tattered racks!

Thoughts keep coming back as the vessel sinks.

Rot keeps running at the calamitous special brink.

Is the end in sight?

Will this be alright?

Gushing exile, flooding pain.

Rushing x-file, running drain.

Hope! friendly faces over the horizon.

Rope! Saving graces looking at eyes in.

The ship sinks, to the bottom of oceanic heartbreak.

Safely with a warm invite, healing the excruciating heart ache.

Saved, as the sailor may be, trauma still roars back.

That ship was sinking years ago, for future will stay on more track.

Reliant the sailor was, for the co-captain to keep things afloat.

The sunk in memories make the sailor reluctant to gloat.

Sunshine and smooth sailing off into the future.

Recovery still imminent, Dilapidated remains of a once gorgeous cruiser,

Fill the floor of raging regret.

Won’t go back to salvage the carnage.

Just move forward with lessons the sailor will never forget.
