The Search for Self-Worth
Embracing Your Inner Light in a World of Comparison and Self-Doubt

There was once a man who felt lost,
His life seemed barren, his soul exhaust,
He longed for love and care from those around,
But everywhere he turned, emptiness he found.
He yearned for a life of ease and grace,
But social media's constant race,
To flaunt one's life and power,
Left him feeling small and sour.
He often compared himself to others,
Feeling inferior, lacking any colors,
He forgot to see his own light,
And the gifts that shone bright.
But then, he remembered a force so true,
One that always guided him through,
God's love breathed life into his being,
And kept his heart beating and seeing.
He saw the beauty in his own blood,
And felt his heart's rhythm with a thud,
He smiled despite life's bitter pills,
And felt the warmth of God's gentle stills.
He realized that struggles are a part of life,
But faith in God can help ease the strife,
He learned to be patient and trust in His plan,
And found peace and joy in God's loving hand.
