The Royal Homecoming
The Queen Has Arrived
Excuse me….move out the way,
the King has arrived!
His long wait is finally over,
he’s found a true Queen to reign by his side!

She has been hidden from public view,
saved for a time such as this.
Now to be united with her King,
a celebration you don’t want to miss!
***
Send for all the Kings men,
and do away with the undeserving maidens!
Shut and bolt all the doors to the kingdom,
and don’t let anyone in!
***
Roses and sunflowers grace the courtyard,
a floral bedding fit for only a King & Queen.
Silence the gossip of the disbelievers,
for they don’t know anything!
***
The King and Queen have come home,
to rule in their appointed land!
There will be zero tolerance to injustice,
only equality for all men!
***
A homecoming to do away with prejudice,
let the heirs to the throne take a seat.
Hunt down all the wolves,
and send the Shepherds to gather the sheep!
