We stand on inherited land asking ourselves, “What’s god without a man?”
Without prophets no profit he’s off it, he lost it, spoke out of turn and now look what it cost us
We borrowed time and now with borrowed eyes we feast on sorrow
What’s left of us skip the trust too much light
Light it up don’t put out the fire though
It’s ok if you hide it we might find it tomorrow
Im in love but my lungs keep giving me less time
Remember that god isn’t humble like Ely
He walked the ground for a minute said wait I’ma get mine
Now I’m scattering blood splattered ashes I know it’s the last test I’m requesting no blessings
Just watch from the seaside it gets worse but it’s worth it
Your mom left you two bullets with obsidian then she folded
See she just didn’t know if that light that you holding would burn till your old teaching all of us lessons
Just don’t let your dreams get brighter
Let darkness guard the light inside you
Stay on the ground that’s how you find truth
When Enemies are complacent beside you
