Life is a river,

Flowing with the passage of time,

Enclosed by its banks,

Restricted by its course,

It meanders through the valleys and hills,

With rapids and waterfalls along its way,

The river corrodes it bed and overgrows its channels,

In an attempt to find meaning,

To branch out,

Form connections and streams,

To build a family,

Life has its hardships,

It lacks of focus and misdirection,

But it also has its growth,

Its purpose and joy,

And family is its greatest joy.
