The Real Politicians Don't Need to Run for Office

Never

By savage writerPublished 6 years ago 2 min read

Is my microphone on?

Can I talk to you for just a second

Stop with all the protesting, the disparagement

It’s not advancing you, it’s not aiding your growth

Too much foolishness happening in the ether

Had to escape for a while, vacay impending

I don’t need a passport to go ghost to be honest

Best thing about making moves is that no one knows what’s coming

Technician of surprises, full of them big fella

Plenty mysteries surround me, don’t mistake them for mirrors

It ain’t fake my G

New decade is on the horizon

Flawless timing, make this story of yours known

The real politicians don’t need to run for office

Ain’t gotta campaign for funds, catch a bar free of charge

I’ll fuck around and become a game changer for my generation

If I don’t exercise enough caution with the content that I’m delivering

Momentum I’m instilling into my brethren back in the South Ward

Weequahic raised me, it’s where the story was drafted

Can never forget my origins, that’s a no-no

My past has influenced me to become a go-getter

Won’t crack under pressure, won’t melt in the spotlight

Can never allow that to be my fate

By any means necessary, ready to get it

Can turn nothing into something, vice-versa

So is that why I consider myself God?

100+ time published author, you know I never intended to write that many

Least not at first, once I saw how far I could really push this

I went beyond the extra mile, I swam across continents

Times have changed, I guess

Headed for the 200 mark, 2023 is the perfect year to reach it

Why am I not discovered yet, I mean

I will be soon

Make no mistake about it

I must stay consistent with my gift

Got regimens dat’ I knock out every single day

I’m not seein’ any hindrance to my potential

I’m the only one who can play such a role in it

Just know dat’ I’m ready to claim my stake

No dining necessary, shit ain’t gotta be medium-rare or well-done

I’ve done more at twenty than one could manage to do in a lifetime, quit’ sleepin’

Wake up, dummy!
