The Rain, Rain, Rain, Rained Like Rain
A Triolet Inspired By Vivian Stanshall and Sandra Matos And For A Vocal Social Society Challenge

Introduction
This poem is inspired by Vivian Stanshall's description or Rain, which you can listen to at the start of the video above, an excerpt from "Sir Henry At Rawlinson End", Sandra Matos' Triolet which you can read here with a full explanation of the form:
And it is a piece for the latest Vocal Social Society Challenge that you can read about and enter here.
I think this could be a visual poem as well.

The Rain, Rain, Rain, Rained Like Rain
Like Bullets On The Tin Roof
Non-Stop, Again And Again
The Rain, Rain, Rain, Rained Like Rain
Coming Down, Like A Steam Train
Iron Shod Devil's Cloven Hoof
Like Bullets On The Tin Roof
The Rain, Rain, Rain, Rained Like Rain

Oh, I just love the way that sounded!! What a great poem :)
Did you enter this into the Inverse challenge? It works well both ways! Loved your poem!
Several tongue tickling verses in this poem. I especially liked Bullets on a tin roof, Coming down like a steam train and Iron shod devilβs cloven hoof. Each of these lines evokes of the sound of a hard rain on a corrugated metal roof. Excellent work!
Love that sound, love that feeling, love the rain.
Lovely nature poem!!!πβ€οΈ
I'll have to think about this one.
