The promise you once promised.

A love remembered, a vow that faded.

By Sandeep SahooPublished 9 months ago 1 min read

You once promised me,

That we will never be apart,

You intended to laugh.

Take my hand in yours,

I vowed that we would spend,

Every evening in each other's arms,

We held each other's hands,

We held each other's hearts to heart.

Then what have you become?

Oh my dear you are Unfaithful today,

You cut me out of your life today.

By calling me a pretence.

How many sorrows did I take in life?

For the sake of your love.

And you, my love!

In a marvel of their riches,

You left the true love of a poor lover.

Be happy with your wealth.

I will spend my remaining life,

With the help of your hatred
