Expectation is a silent thief,
That steals the present with no relief.
In the feelings of hope, expectation lies,
A silent wish, a dream that flies.
Expectation has the power, it fuels our drive,
Pushing us ahead to truly thrive.
It is the hope in the journey you must dare,
And contrast like a reminder that life is fair.
In the core of our heart, it is an art,
And expecting from others hurts your heart.
Keep expectations high on achievement,
It hurts when you tie your happiness to fulfilment.
Not expect people, wish for better days ahead,
Be a self-believer and expect yourself instead.
Expectations are not reality, meet unhappiness,
imagination lagged the reality, create your happiness.
