The Power Of Pure Joy
Simple Things
the smell of the puddles calls me to play, i stomp and i giggle enjoying the day
the sun warms my skin with its soft, gentle rays, making me happy the clouds found me today
the sound of the splashes and laughter, contagious. it calls out to the wild and my spirit replies
the taste of the giggles, like bubbles of champagne, creates such sensation it induces a smile
i watch as the rain clouds give way to the sunshine, a spectacular dance of giving and take. a balance of need met with spectacular quotidian, the simplest of reasons to celebrate
