In the memories of my grandfather

(the day after I lost him)

Life has to go on

Even in the hardest times of mourn

You've to wake up

howsoever was your night

You've to smile

Even when inside

you sigh

You've to walk

Even when inside you're dead

You've to talk

But inside you're blank

You've to blossom

But inside you stank

You have to move on

From everything that happened

You've carried this heart

Even when it was dampened

By the thoughts you never want to think

By the sights that made you sink

In the unending despair

But you've faith in PRAYER

You woke up with a smile

Embellished the atmosphere

And this time it's not fragile

Now you're walking and you're talking

Now you blossom and you look heartwarming

Your heart has collected all the broken pieces back

The pieces still delicate, you arranged them in the stack

The stack stood upright

(Ofc you're a bit scared for it to shatter again

But this time

You've the power of prayer)

You behold it without fright

Misery, pain scars converted to lesson

You finally know what it means to be in heaven

Heaven, inside you

Heaven, a part of you

Heaven, you always knew

Now

you're not scare'

All you know is

faith in PRAYER

The title defines it really well, the power of the prayer is really astonishing. This is a beautiful piece. You're an amazing writer, and I'm so proud of you for sharing your story. It's clear that every word comes from a deep place within you. Your words have touched me deeply. Your words are a masterpiece of raw emotion and resilience. The line 'You've carried this heart / Even when it was dampened' resonated with me deeply. Your ability to transform pain into such beautiful poetry is truly inspiring. This piece is a testament to your strength and courage.

True, prayer really works out, and it makes us realise the divinity we have inside us and all around us, in everything and everyone (the heaven). Additionally, from all the losses in our lives, we always gain something — the bittersweet lessons (and gratitude, self-awareness, strength, wisdom, humanitarian values, etc). ❤️
