There once was a pink daisy,

Whose family was quite crazy,

So many colors had they

That other flowers simply ran away,

They skittered and they scattered,

They blubbered and they blabbered,

About the crazy daisy family,

Who had thrown all in disarray,

"Why have you come here?"

"Why have you grown your family here?"

"Why oh why can't you please leave us in peace?"

To this, the pink daisy replied,

Being the littlest flower of the crazy daisy family,

But the most outspoken by far,

"What a lovely day this is,

Come rain or shine,

Why must we all constantly whine?

Flowers are what make the fields

Fresh and bright,

Beautiful and new.

But only together, all of us,

Blooming in unison as one family,

Only united can WE continue making so pretty

The entire world!

Some of us are crazy true,

Some of us quiet and calm,

But being different always keeps things interesting

Wouldn't you say?"

And with that, while bowing her head,

Quietly slipped away into the petal-ing crowd,

While others, her elders,

Could ponder and muse on what else to say,

You see, that little pink daisy,

All by herself that fine day,

Dared to be bold,

Adventured to be more,

A tiny blaze and flash of pink,

In the midst of a rainbow field of millions,

Small things can MAKE a big difference!
