The Paths We Must Take
The Twists and Turns
Mark 1:2-3 N.I.V
2 as it is written in Isaiah the prophet:
“I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way”—3 “a voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’ ”
There are the paths
We take
Rarely straight
Life with it
Twists and turns
Carry us along
The way.
The paths we take
Carry beauty
And grace
When we lean
On the Lord
Seek his face.
The beauty
We see
Along the way
It speaks of the
Love that shines
Through
Whenever we
Lift his name.
The paths
We must take
With its twists
And turns
Lead us to
Our destination
And when we
Seek his face
We know
We will be
In a place
Of Grace.

Getting Serious About Comedy (Part I)
If I were asked to remark on my life and the childhood that paved some road leading me to this point, I would have to say something about all the funny people who surrounded me for the last 26,872 days (and counting). Somewhere along that road, I became a big fan of laughter and the comedy that spawns it – and, I mean not only my own laughter, but the laughter of others, some of which I have actually been responsible for inducing.
