I’ve Been at That Place

Poems of Faith

I’ve been to

That place

The crashing

Of the waves

Feeling topsy turvy

The land of disbelief.

It was starting to get

To me.

Photo by Billy Pasco on Unsplash

Alone and broken

He took my hand

The God of all Wonder

Calmed those seas

Gave me peace

In a world of uncertainties.

There will be hills

To climb

The destination

hasn’t always been easy

And sometimes life

Can be filled

With twists and turns

But the God of the Universe

Has written our

Story

He’s given us

A gift

Not to be

Taken lightly

Sent his only

Son

To die

For you and me.

So the roads may get

Rocky

Twists and

Turns

Maybe hard

To navigate

But when we

give God the reigns

The destination

Is Glory.

Beautiful poem Michelle. I have a hard time understand the will of God but I rest that he knows what is best and he writes all of our stories. But he doesn't interfere with free will. Nicely Done Michelle.

Yes, Michelle God has written all of our stories, I wonder sometimes why, but I rest in HIS that he knows best. Well Done Michelle.
