The One

She is one with copper lips who shot and missed

To end at once who aimed to give her sunflowers.

Had he gifted glass bullets that he manufactured

Graceful through the air only to graze her heart,

Delicate she’d be with the man who shocked her;

Love her: the queen-to-be who asked for gunpower

And instead died; you did not know she was allergic.
