A lonely dusk, the amber sky ablaze,
Beneath the moon, a gentle breeze betrays.
Crickets chatter, composing a serene hum,
Dancing shadows, a nocturnal ballet has begun.
Ephemeral stars twinkle in the vast expanse,
Fragrant flowers in the night enhance.
Glistening dew on the petals, a diamond display,
Heralding the night in a tranquil array.
Infinite galaxies adorn the cosmic sphere,
Journeying through time, the constellations steer.
Kaleidoscope dreams, the universe unfolds,
Lustrous moonlight in silver strands molds.
Mystical whispers in the zephyr's embrace,
Night's tender touch, a comforting grace.
Orchestrating silence, the nightingale's song,
Piercing through the stillness, where dreams belong.
Quivering leaves in a nocturne of peace,
Radiant moonbeams, a celestial release.
Stars align, crafting stories untold,
Tales of the night in shimmering gold.
Under the velvet sky, secrets confide,
Vivid dreams in the quiet night reside.
Whispers of the wind, a lullaby so sweet,
Xanadu's essence in the nocturnal feat.
Yearning hearts find solace in the night,
Zenith reached, the darkness takes flight.

Loved this, almost reads as child's lullaby but with incredible vocab & whimsy! The line "Mystical whispers in the zephyr's embrace" made me smiles, I just finished Tress of the Emerald Sea, and they have Zephyr Spores and it reminded me so much of that story and the whimsy it brought! Awesome work!
