Politicians That Profit from Their Positions don't Care About you

Are you woke enough to see the truth?

Are you ashamed to be white?

Has the whole point become moot,

because it is just a racist gripe?

Has the Black man been Repressed?

Does the White man thirst for Power?

Just what do you suggest,

to keep our feelings from being sour?

Should the Union pay reparations,

Or should the slaves pay to be freed?

Seven Hundred Thousand died from the dedication,

to try and change the way it could be.

Should we identify with a group,

or just Americans are we all?

To belong how low do you dare stoop,

if you hear a desirable faction call?

Politicians try to make right,

the Nation's sins of the past.

But are they the ones who should fight,

because their votes are being sold for cash.

Can the American public really trust,

a person who profits from their position?

Senators and Representatives for money lust,

because to fill their war chests is their only mission.

Do we want a person who sells their vote,

to explain to us what they see as just?

Many scandals stories have been wrote

of people being told what to do by the upper crust.

I think those who are a part of the government

with their use of Power, they are way too obsessed

They always seem to have money spent

Where ever they would suggest

Politicians have become so woke.

That they think they can fix anything

But when their Morals are so broke

To Justice, they have no claim
