The Moon, Feeling Cute
Might Make Everyone Crazy
The moon drives me crazy
he knows that it's true
First, he's all hazy
and a light shade of blue
*
He pulls at my emotions
like the tide to the sand
Spanning the oceans
without any hands
*
Then, just to be cute
he draws even closer
Like he is in pursuit
till I lose my composure
*
He is bright and he's bold
casting a, look at me, reflection
He's warm and he's cold
showing off his affection
*
Yes, the moon has a way of turning my head
doesn't matter the weather or season
He wears it all well, be it orange or red
knowing, gazing at him, is so pleasing
