The moments before chaos.

It was a difficult time, a dark time.

The shadows dwelled over the night sky,

While the clouds became a veil over the heavens.

And the cool breeze passed over the ancient mountains,

With an eerie sound as it passed its charted course.

The hearts that sought the realm of slumber,

Only mourned and grieved over the prospects of how, what, where, and when?

Days had passed, weeks had followed,

Months had flown by with the unsettling rumors of war,

And the anxieties over what could be lingered through weary minds.

The, dawn was supposed to be a symbol of hope for the heart.

The rays of the sun to invigorate the wakened body throughout mourning,

Bringing healing to the flesh, mind, and spirit.

Yet, a new day seemed like any other day,

When the earth teetered upon the brink of destruction,

The heart trembled from anger and vexation,

And the news of warfare, stirring, once again...
