You balance scales with whispered breath,
You weigh the words, you paint the sky,
A diplomat who dances death.
A lover caught in asking why.
Your grace is sharp, your mind refined,
You crave the calm, the silken thread
A poet’s soul, a mirrored mind.
Not just what's said, but how it's said.
Yet choices pull your heart apart
You charm, you flirt, you ease, you please
Each side a song, a work of art.
But seek your own elusive peace.
Still, in your gaze, things realign
You are the hush before the kiss,
A beauty born of clear design.
The echo of a perfect bliss.
About the Creator
E. C. Mira
I’m a poet at heart, always chasing the quiet moments and turning them into words. Most of what I write is poetry, but every now and then inspiration pulls me in new directions.
