The Menacing White Page
Beware: Writer's Block
Help!
The white continues for eternity.
Forever it stares at me.
A glance to the left or to the right.
It's dull, snow-like compact never outta sight.
No design or layers or holes punched through.
No fashion statement, lace, even white on white and satin too.
It calls to me, caught in a trance, I cannot look away.
Tick tock, tick tock, the dance stops, I've lost half the day.
Oh, the drudgery of it all! Again I fail.
At this rate, it will surely miss the mail.
Make a plan they say, it helps to stick to the plot.
And tomorrow I shall, I'll break all the white with a single black dot!
