The Mask and The Face

A journey of self-identity

By K.L. GreevesPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

What do we look like to ourselves?

When we look in the mirror, do we see an accurate image?

With a glance, is there a chance to feel the transmuted energy when someone sees you?

How does it feel to be truthfully seen in a way that removes all doubt from within you?

Your reflection is merely that, a reflection.

The face we present is a veil of protection from our unapologetic selves.

Many of us fear the day we have to come face to face with our fears.

The day we realize that the mask we wear never comes off.
