Why do you haunt my dreams?

Even while I'm awake

You make my heart ache.

So why do you haunt my dreams?

I know your heart,

I know you're not mean,

And to you,

I now know what I mean.

But what I can't figure out,

Is why I can't shake you out.

So why do you haunt my dreams?

This pain makes me want to scream!

I am not as strong as I seem.

Even in my paradise,

I can't get away from your deep blue eyes.

So please, why do you haunt my dreams?
