The Man Who Couldn’t Smile
Then along come a woman who brightens his world

The man who couldn’t smile,
Walked a quiet, lonely mile.
With eyes like clouds, so gray and dim,
He carried shadows, deep within.
But then he met her, bright and kind,
A spark of warmth, a love defined.
With laughter shared and gentle grace,
She showed him light in every space.
He found a wife who gave him life,
A balm for sorrow, joy from strife.
With every glance, the shadows fade,
In her embrace, his fears allayed.
Now he walks with a brighter heart,
For love can mend what was torn apart.
The man who couldn’t smile, now beams,
In her sweet laughter, he finds his dreams.

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️
