The Maiden's Words To Her Moon Sister
A Terzanelle Inspired By An Image From Debbie's Magical Brew For The Vocal "Letters To The Moon" Challenge

Introduction
This is the first Terzanelle that I have written without looking at the rules. I think I know how to write one now.
It is also an Ekphrastic poem.
These are the words about this wonderful image from Debbie's Magical Brew, which is full of wonderful things to read and see:
The goddess in the image is Ix Chel, one of the most important and oldest goddesses in Mayan mythology. She is a rich and versatile figure, connected to the moon, fertility, birth, water, healing and the weaving of the web of life. Her name is usually pronounced Ish-chel or Eesh-chel, which is often translated as "She of the rainbow" or "Woman of light".
This is Debbie's Magical Brew, where I found the painting
The music is "Sisters Of The Moon" by Fleetwood Mac
