The Lights Are On

So I Can't Be Far From Home

My heart is full but my mind is hazy.

I feel so energized and at the same time insanely lazy.

Working so hard to figure out where I am supposed to land.

But the day after day life expectations are making it hard for me to stand.

I am beyond words tired!

I cannot stress that enough.

That all comes from a girl who is pretty darn tough.

Can't I simply see a light in the distance to direct me home?

After all the miles I have traveled, I need to be shown.

No more questioning or wondering where I should be.

To open that door that is truly meant for me.

The glow brightly shining letting me know I have arrived

Reaching the place I have long for strived!
