The Lightening And The Rod

Life is funny. You're plodding along, head hanging down, not looking where you're going and WHAM!!! Something so random and statistically unlikely slaps you in the head with the force of a ten ton mac truck and the Universe leans into your ear and stage whispers... "Sorry I'm Late".

All of a sudden a new road erupts from the ground in front of you with a sign saying..

'Something different-10 miles------->'

Today is full of possibilities with journeys and adventures waiting just down a newly discovered path leading into the impenetrable forest along the Shore of your life.

A very old path, once covered, now brushed clean by the Storm Clouds.

The Lightening finds the Rod and the path is Illuminated.

You stare like a retarded monkey scratching your ass and saying ' Well I'll be... Imagine that.'

when you have thought you were the only human left in the world you turn a corner in some random dead city, and faceplant directly Into another Face, headbutting each other and both of you landing on your asses and shaking your heads.

It's amazing to find the paths of our ancestors. It's like finding a piece of yourself without ever realizing that piece had been missing at all. Suddenly you look at the world like a child seeing it for the first time.
