The life that once was

She’s hunting for that life she used to live,

the life where she had a carefree opinion,

a carefree choice of what she wanted to do with her life,

where only she matters. It’s not selfish on her part because she always put others first.

She’s hunting for that moment in her life,

The life she always dreamed of,

she could buy anything, and do anything she wanted,

no on else’s opinion matter but hers, she still cares but at distance,

she still enjoys the company of others but at a distance.

She’s now chasing her dreams and ambitions, goals that she’s always wanted,

things people said she could not do, she’s on the hunt to prove that she can,

she’s on the hunt to show that no goal or dream is too late,

no mission for what you want is impossible, only if you make it.

the hunt is never lost, but a gain to be achieved and won.

She’s chasing to restore what was once her life as a child,

the life she knows now, is not the life she remembers,

the life she remembers as a teen, was snatched away,

but she’ll be back and she make her day because the hunt is never lost, but a gain.
