The life of a Honeybee

In a sunny field so wide,

Where flowers bloom and dreams collide,

Lives a bee with wings so light,

That buzz and gleam in morning’s light.

She wakes up early, without delay,

Ready to start her busy day.

From flower to flower, she darts around,

Gathering nectar where colors abound.

"Hello, little flower! How do you do?"

She whispers softly with a kiss of dew.

With gentle legs, she gathers sweet,

From petals that smell so fresh and neat.

She zooms and zips, without a care,

Dancing lightly through the air.

Up to the blue sky, down to the tree,

She’s a happy, humming honeybee.

“Buzz, buzz, buzz!” she sings with glee,

As she twirls and swirls near every tree.

The flowers sway and nod their head,

“Thank you, Bee, for what you’ve spread!”

For as she flies from bloom to bloom,

She spreads the pollen, makes flowers bloom!

Red, yellow, purple, and blue,

They thank her with petals fresh as new.

Back to her hive, she’s on her way,

To share her treasure, bright and gay.

With her sisters, she works all day,

Making sweet honey in a careful display.

They build the comb, they shape it well,

With tiny cells where treasures dwell.

A drop of gold, a taste so sweet,

Is stored away in a honey treat!

She hums and works, then takes a rest,

And thinks of flowers she likes the best.

“Tomorrow’s sun will light my way,

I’ll visit them all, I’ll dance and play!”

So, little child, next time you see,

A buzzing, busy honeybee,

Remember her work, her happy hum,

And all the places she’s come from.

With wings so small and dreams so high,

She shows us all how to try—

To do our best, to give our cheer,

And spread some joy far and near.

So hum along and watch her fly,

From flower to flower beneath the sky.

The little bee with a heart so true—

Is out there making magic for you!
