The Leaves Speak Loud
Poetry for the Month of April
This is for Natashaβs poetry challenge and Mikeydredβs April challenge.
Humility turns the April cold. βMichelle Liew.

They do not stun, but dispel the dark
Flashes of green against the black.
No bugle calls, or glorious spark
Just green lines against the black.
πππππππΏππππ±πππππππππππΏππππ±π
They seal wall cracks, and stem decay
Not seeking gold, just cool, fresh air.
Their silence speaks, louder than storms say.
Their humility does not despair.

"Their humility does not despair." A phrase of the day for meβone that is not easily forgotten. I needed it. A deeply profound piece that I truly liked because it held me with it for a long time.
Not seeking gold - just cool fresh air. Oh to have Spring come and just stay. Nicely Done Michelle!!!
