The Land of Lost Thoughts
A surreal journey through the mind's forgotten corner
Beyond the bounds of memory,
Where forgotten thoughts reside,
Lies a land of lost perspectives,
Where the past and present collide.
A path made of cobwebbed memories,
Leads me through the misty haze,
As I search for the thoughts I've lost,
In this surreal, forgotten maze.
I see a river of ink,
Flowing with forgotten words,
And a forest of quill pens,
Dancing in the absurd.
A castle made of forgotten dreams,
Towers in the distance far,
And I can hear the echoes,
Of memories that were.
As I wander through this land,
I am met with a sense of dread,
For in this place, the past is present,
And the forgotten, not yet dead.
I come upon a door,
That leads me back to reality,
I step through, with a sense of relief,
But also with a sense of loss, of what could have been.
For in the Land of Lost Thoughts,
I have discovered the forgotten corners of my mind,
And though it was a surreal journey,
It has helped me to better understand, and redefine.
