The Kingdom of Capitalism
Or The Laughing One Percent

The Animal Kingdom is turning on its head
The lion’s share has been thrown out to the hyenas
While the lioness scrapes and scavenges
To make up for the loss from her hunt
To keep her pride alive
Starvation is imminent
The King of the Savannah lies dying
As hyenas laugh down at him
The one percent taking over the population—
Scavengers taking food while hunters get nothing
Why don’t the lions eat the hyenas instead?
Natural order restored

Mustafa is not forever, hopefully.
This lion is ready to barbecue a few hyenas for lunch - want to join me? I so feel this poem as it’s becoming utterly ridiculous that the billionaires and multimillionaires of the U.S. (I speak in terms of the U.S. as that is what I relate to) are given all the breaks while more and more is being chopped away from the middle class and the poor working class just in order to give those very wealthy people major tax breaks and in many cases not even having to pay any taxes whatsoever. They call themselves patriots but they don’t want to help support the country of which they are a patriot. I call foul play!
Truth well spoken. its getting ridiculous now,
This. Just this. Well wrought Stephanie.
