Travel far, let your feet take flight,
Beyond the horizon, into the night.
The world unfolds in colors untold,
Each step a treasure, each story gold.
They say it's the only thing you buy,
That fills your soul, lifts you high.
A journey starts where fear may stay,
But courage grows as you find your way.
Leaves you speechless, steals your breath,
Yet brings you life, defies all death.
For in the unknown, the heart can see,
What it truly means to live and be.
The best education is not a class,
But roads explored, and shadows cast.
Every street, every face, every stone,
Teaches truths you claim as your own.
Life is vast, more than meets the eye,
It whispers dreams, if you'll only try.
For it holds the keys to a richer world,
As both sides of life are revealed and twirled.
Yes, it may scare, it may feel unclear,
But freedom waits beyond the fear.
And in that freedom, you'll finally see,
The person you're meant and destined to be.

The Last Flame invited writers to sit with endings, using fire as a central image to consider what remains when something burns out: ash, warmth, memory, silence, or the faint promise of what comes next.
