The Journey of the Leaf
A haiku about earth and the beauty of nature
The proud little leaf,
Waving on the hands of trees,
Reaching for the sky.
...
Until seasons change,
Your rich forest colour fades.
Gone with a rustle.
...
You float in the wind
And return from once you came.
Enriching the soil,
...
Nourishing the ground,
Laying on a bed of friends,
A life so profound .
