A heart that is "stained" with the emotions of love and grief

I do not need your lips of red,
Your hair in serpent coils,
Or a neck as elegant as a swan's
I do not need eyes of drunkenness,
Teeth as perfect as heaven's pearls,
Cheeks as full as pomegranates,
A voice as sweet as a sarinda's tune,
A figure as elegant as a poplar tree.
But show me one thing, my love,
A heart stained with the colors of a poppy flower.
I would give up all the riches in the world,
For the tears born of love and grief.
Theme
The poem is trying to convey that true love is not about superficial things, but about a person's inner emotions and feelings.
