The Greatest Gift Of The Heart

Love comes in many forms,

It's not always rings, and roses,

It comes with thorns,

To truly love takes strength,

It's the strongest power a human has,

We love in sickness,

In health,

In weakness, too.

True love doesn't always mean

stability, good looks, or being athletic;

The mind and body can be fragile,

We suffer from many things,

Not just physically, but mentally.

Time can change people,

Time can take away strength from the mind,

And, body.

Certain events, unexpected, can unfold,

That can change a person in time.

We could lose our legs, our sight, our minds,

Become sick and die.

True love carries our bond to the grave

and beyond;

Time and change are not enough to change a strong heart,

Even when we break or leave each other,

In true love that is honest, respectful, and dignified,

The greatest gift of the heart is to love someone through the

many changes,

So;

When your loved ones become ill,

Or disabled in some way,

Show them that you care,

Because the heart can be stronger than time,

Whether in love,

Whether in death.
