The Goodbye She Could Not Say
When people die suddenly and emotional journey we navigate

Two winters back,
my father passed away,
we all navigated grief,
but the wife, my mother,
who spent five decades,
with the man,
was inconsolable.
She understood,
he was the oldest in the family,
and went first,
that's normal.
Before the body turned invalid,
before dignity was lost,
it’s better to exit,
she believed.
It makes sense,
but she couldn’t accept
that she didn’t get to say,
the final goodbye.
It was sudden,
that was her complaint.
Well, now that we saw
a deadly plane crash,
hundreds of people,
globetrotters,
flying for better futures,
in the middle of mundane,
lost their lives tragically.
Nobody could say goodbye
to their loved ones,
not even the families,
traveling together,
on that fateful flight.
So we can't always say farewell,
we must make peace with.
Except in terminal illness,
we don’t often get the chance.
We shouldn’t feel guilty,
all love and care
should be expressed
while we are still here,
with each other,
when we feel emotions.

Saying good-bye is hard to say to anyone. For me I will always remember the good times we had together for the ones that I have lost. Great job.
I'm so sorry for the loss of your father 🥺 Sending you and your mom lots of love and hugs ❤️
I think it can be harder when you don't get to say goodbye. Your right, even though we often feel guilty, we shouldn't.
Dealing with loss is hard. <3 hugs
