The Game

I love you, but you don’t love me...

By Tawalkanye TurnerPublished 7 years ago 1 min read

I know you’re my friend, but I want more

It’s you my friend, I’ve grown to adore

With you and I, side by side

This world is big, and my heart is wide

The feelings I have for you, grows deep inside

I see the possibilities, of a you and I

I promise you, there will be no lies

I love you and there is no other

This world my friend, we can both discover

As each minute passes, it grows into hours

Our love is blossoming, like fields of flowers

Hours turn into days, and days, turn into meses

I fear you may break my heart, into pieces

As time passes on, there is something, I need to tell you

Someone else, has the key to my heart; I didn’t mean to fail you

I know, I told you, you’re my amor

But with her, my heart, can’t close the door

I know ,you told me, your lovers has hurt you, in the past

But she loves me more, and I have to, make it last

Our friendship? Yeah, that can’t remain

So, I guess, you can charge this, to the game

love poems
