Good evening, Alpha Moon,

Tonight you shine so bright.

… What the hell rhymes with moon?

Ugh, I can't do anything right.

*

JUNE! Of course I have missed,

But I've already written in pen.

Oh Lord Alpha please don't be pissed,

Perhaps I should start again.

*

*

Good evening, Alpha Moon,

Tonight you shine so bright,

And on this night in June,

I see clearly from your light.

*

Now that's a better start,

My fur draws power from your shine.

And tonight my beating heart,

Will be strongest at your shrine.

*

My pack and I will climb,

Up to the highest peak.

We will get to you in time,

For you to hear us speak.

*

We must be nearly there,

Just a few crests from the top.

I can feel it in the air,

Until we're there, we must not stop.

*

My pack will walk as one,

Together, these woods we prowl.

It's hours since we begun,

But you must hear our howl.
