The Fire We Walk Through

Why do we do it? Because we know true love lasts

The Fire We Walk Through

We walked through burning seasons,

Where nothing stayed the same,

Where love felt sharp and heavy,

Yet sweeter with each step.

Your eyes could strike like lightning,

Your voice could warm the cold,

I learned to take the weather,

That lived inside your soul.

We carried shattered hours,

We held unspoken grief,

Yet even through the breaking,

You never let me go.

Your touch rebuilt my spirit,

Your anger wrote new scars,

Still I chose to stand beside you,

With everything I had.

Love became our furnace,

Forging who we are,

Two hearts that burned together,

Through darkness and through fire.

We walked through storms unending,

We walked through nights unkind,

Yet every storm we faced,

Still led me back to you.

So let the fire surround us,

Let time do what it will,

For every flame we cross,

Proves what our love survived.
