The Fake Alphabet

Poem from the vault

By Robbie NaglePublished 3 years ago 1 min read

A person with the plastic face

Brings it out of a case

Cursing the way they are

Digging away at their scar

Everyone has a true ID

Face that fact and keep it tidy

Getting away from their true ways

Hiding their identity through the days

In their fakeness, they create lies

Joking about the past is not wise

Killing themselves to be ideal

Living everyday unreal

Mopping on the make-up today

Never realizing what others say

Oblivious to what is there

Purposely becoming what is not rare

Quickly changing to what they are not

Reality is not in their thought

Self beauty is under the mask

Take it off finish the task

Underneath it all is all real

Vibrant beauty is beneath the seal

Why can't all see it as beauty and stop the faking?

Xanax even covers the happiness in the making

Yesterday it was fake, today can be new and true

Z is the last letter of the fake alphabet. Woo!
