A Haikuplet on Chasing Dreams
This is a response to Poppy’s prompt, Fly, and Kenny Penn’s Haikuplet challenge. Do join in the fun!
Chasing dreams is an uphill battle. That’s probably why many of us don’t end up doing that.
Seeing them come to fruition, however, takes the willingness to try and good, old-fashioned diligence.
May we all be eagles willing to take that first step to wish upon that star and make our dreams take flight.
Splendour stands bravely
Wings unfurl in readiness
Creature takes flight
Bird soars the blue skies
yellow beak touches white clouds
Breaks through to the sun.
