She kissed me in vintage fashion,
and I was undone by this sip of fresh rain.
The passion shared, it geared me up with fuel, for living life again,
even though my car was running on empty by the time I made it to Seattle.
I brought the tablet of my heart to your chest,
with the letters upon letters pouring from me to you.
My legs quiver as arrows in the bow of your being,
as you have always been the one that I wish I was seeing.
On my way to you,
the hours blended into blurs of longing...
I had such vivid imagery of what I thought it would all be like when we first met in person,
but it was light years better than my most lavish imaginations!

Like that a lot. Especially the imagery of trembling with the excitement, the need for acceptance.
That line, "I brought the tablet of my heart to your chest"—it’s sacred and vulnerable and electric all at once.
This writing is really poetic. The descriptions of the kiss and the emotions are intense. It makes me wonder how it feels to experience such a powerful connection. I've had moments where anticipation built up before seeing someone, but nothing like this seems to be described here. What inspired you to write something so full of passion?
Beautiful. That moment when two hearts connect for the first time
