The Day Lou Earned His Pie

From Bird Chaser to Pie Taste

This evening, I accompanied Granny Anny from House 9 on a casual walk. She was feeling cooped up inside, so together we went on an evening stroll, accompanied by her dog, Lou.

The evening breeze had a soothing effect on the skin, and we were feeling quite relaxed. Lou, however, was bustling around like a hyperactive puppy. Soon, we ended up in a park.

Granny Anny sat on a bench and took out a brown bag. She began sprinkling its contents around, and soon, a few birds gathered. Lou was having fun too—he played with the birds, jumping into their midst and scattering them, scaring them out of their wits.

But soon, his target changed, and he began a chase. A squirrel scampered away, Lou hot on its tail. At first, I thought the squirrel was frightened, trying to scurry back to its home in the tree—but I underestimated her.

The clever little bugger led Lou straight into a pie sitting on an empty bench. Lou ended up with cream on his nose and crust in his fur, but he didn’t seem mad. Instead, he wagged his tail happily.

He licked the pie off the grass while a crowd gathered, cheering. The baker laughed and even gave Lou a new plate of pie. I think Lou deserved the pie.

At the park, a dog named Lou,
Chased a squirrel, as dogs often do.
But the squirrel, quick and sly,
Led Lou right into a pie!

A baker’s treat, left on a bench,
Became Lou’s unexpected stench.
With cream on nose and crust in fur,
He wagged his tail, as if to purr.

The baker laughed, the crowd cheered on,
As Lou licked clean the grassy lawn.
A pie-faced pup, a day so sunny,
Turned a chase into something so funny!

Haha, Lou sounds like a rambunctious but fun dog! It's little moments like these that make up the enjoyment of life. Also, Granny Anny is such a great grandmother name 😁 Another amazing little story, Staringale!
