The Creator I Used To Be
A Breakup Nonet
Times Change, as do Vocal's Creators.
I used to enter each Challenge,
And see how many I could write.
I was not so busy,
Fewer things to do,
Places to be,
In a day.
No more.
Sad.
While I'm in a better place financially now than I was when I joined Vocal, it's come at the cost of less free time.
I've grown my Small Business, contributed to my retirement fund and savings account, and I'm paying off my homeloan. I'm even saving for an overseas vacation. But that means working full-time, rather than Part-Time or Casual, where I had entire days free to indulge my creative side.
I don't regret it, but I miss being able to spend as much time on Vocal Challenges as I used to.

Getting Serious About Comedy (Part I)
If I were asked to remark on my life and the childhood that paved some road leading me to this point, I would have to say something about all the funny people who surrounded me for the last 26,872 days (and counting). Somewhere along that road, I became a big fan of laughter and the comedy that spawns it – and, I mean not only my own laughter, but the laughter of others, some of which I have actually been responsible for inducing.
