The Creator and the Hunter

A Poem

By Sylvia Lorraine Published about a year ago 1 min read

The creator and the hunter can never peacefully coexist.

One cherishes in life’s simplicities; the other relishes in death.

The creator strives to leave this world more beautiful and more kind; the hunter thrives to collect bones by taking an innocent life.

Where one speaks softly and is careful to leave no trace, the latter breaks the silence with a deafening blast and a blood stain.

The creator leaves a legacy with art, love, and goodness. The hunter delights in a trophy graveyard and an armory of weapons.

No, the creator and the hunter can never peacefully coexist.

The creator was meant to live a life full of beauty, love, and peace.

The hunter only seeks to destroy all that is innocent, kind, and weak.

Powerful truth 💯. A creator and a hunter are strangely different. Love your poem.
