The Constipated Elephant
Try as he may he could not go

The Constipated Elephant
There once was an elephant, strong and stout,
Who found himself in a bit of a doubt.
His belly rumbled, his tail gave a sway,
But nothing seemed to be on its way.
He ate some bananas, he drank some tea,
He even tried swinging from a tree.
But no matter the effort, try as he might,
His problem stayed with him all through the night.
The monkeys laughed, the parrots jeered,
“The elephant’s stuck!” was what they feared.
But with a trumpet, loud and grand,
Relief at last swept through the land.
Now the jungle cheers, from tree to tree,
For the elephant’s triumph—and his great degree!
Yet a wise old owl gave him concern:
“To eat a balanced meal, you must learn!”
So now he munches on greens and grain,
And drinks cool water when it starts to rain.
No more troubles, no more plight—
The elephant’s tummy feels just right!

This could have been quite a fright for one elephant. Good lesson to learn for all.
