People are so Cruel

laughing Behind His Back

There’s a man who walks alone,

In the shadows, on his own.

His heart heavy, spirit cracked,

For his friends laugh behind his back.

They smile bright when he is near,

But their whispers fill him with fear.

Words like arrows, sharp and cruel,

Turning kindness into a fool.

He wonders why, he asks in vain,

What joy is found in causing pain?

A lonely man, with wounds so deep,

He hides his tears where none will peep.

But one day, light will find his face,

And lead him to a kinder place.

Where friends are true, and hearts are kind,

And laughter heals, not breaks, the mind.

Such a powerful and poignant poem. It speaks to the pain of betrayal and loneliness but also offers a glimmer of hope.✨

This poem captures the pain of betrayal so poignantly. The contrast between the bright smiles and the cruel whispers behind his back is heartbreaking. But the hope at the end—of finding true friends and healing—is a beautiful reminder that even in our darkest moments, kindness and understanding can light the way forward. Powerful and moving!!!
